Who we are

Lenus was founded by a team with a substantial track record in the healthcare, real estate, and financial sectors. Using the management team’s experience, the company creates long-term value for its investors and the companies it invests in. We achieve this by working closely with management to enhance company strategies, increase operational efficiencies and drive expansion plans.

What we do

Lenus Capital Partners creates an integrated healthcare platform to provide outpatient and inpatient services, at all levels of care. We focus on equity, mezzanine, and debt financed investments in healthcare related companies with growth potential. He is a multilingual executive who understands what it takes to operate businesses in international markets. Throughout his career, he has established different businesses in the US and Latin America. Mr. Lederer recently developed a healthcare real estate investment strategy in Colombia and, as Managing Partner of Rizk Ventures, helped achieve a Joint Venture with Goldman Sachs & Co. Mr. Manotas is Lenus Capital Partners´ CFO. Prior to Lenus, Mr. Manotas worked at J.P. Morgan for more than 8 years holding various roles within Investment and Corporate Banking until reaching Vice President. In Colombia, he worked in Corporate Banking covering clients from Colombia and Central America and the Caribbean. In 2014, Mr. Manotas moved to the Latam Debt Capital Markets (DCM) group in New York, where he structured and executed debt transactions for corporate and sovereign issuers in Colombia, Central America, the Caribbean, Chile, and Argentina. Mr. Manotas executed transactions including 144A / RegS / SEC Reg. bonds, syndicated loans, private debt/structured transactions and project finance. In 2017, Mr. Manotas returned to Bogotá and took on additional responsibility at DCM in the Sales and Markets group, covering Colombian corporate clients in derivatives and markets. He studied Law and Business Administration at the Universidad de los Andes.

Mr. Beltran is the Legal Vice President at Lenus Capital Partners (LCP). He recently served as Product Head at the A&T product at Cititrust. As product manager, he was in charge of trust and agency services for corporate clients and financial institutions within the framework of project financing, structured financing, corporate trust structures, bond issuances, and M&A transactions. Additionally, Mr. Beltrán has worked as a senior lawyer at Scotiabank Colpatria, was part of the firm Pinilla González & Prieto, was a lawyer for the Business Reorganization Group of the Superintendency of Companies and began his professional career at the firm Javier Tamayo Jaramillo & Associates. Mr. Beltrán is a Lawyer from the Externado de Colombia University, a Specialist in Business Law from the Javeriana University, a Specialist in International Business Law from the Universidad de los Andes and has an LL.M from the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law with a Certification in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management.

Mr. Diaz del Castillo is Lenus Capital Partners´ Investment Director. Before Lenus, he was part of Balap Investment Group, a boutique investment bank, where he participated in mergers and acquisitions and financing in the real estate, health, financial, tourism, mining, food and beverage sectors, among others. Prior to Balap, Mr. Díaz del Castillo worked as an intern for Frontera Energy, where he participated in the financial evaluation of the corporate investment portfolio. In this role, he developed and implemented a financial evaluation process for the company's oil production. Mr. Díaz del Castillo graduated in Business Administration from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá and has a Diploma in Corporate Finance from the Colegio de Estudios Superiores de Administración (CESA).
